Deposit procedures:
- Cash
- If cash is donated with a name associated, take a photo of the cash w/ the documentation listing the donor’s name.
- If cash does not have a name associated with it, you can just tally up all of the cash w/o name. No photo is needed for cash w/o name.
- Total up the cash amount and list accordingly in the currency and coin boxes of the deposit slip
- Checks
- List the last four digits of each check and the dollar/cents on deposit slip
- Endorse each check using the endorsement stamp
- Take a photo of all checks
- No more than 4 checks for photo so that all names and addresses are easy to read
- Deposit slip: Once all cash + checks have been logged, add up the total and list on the bottom TOTAL and bottom left TOTAL DEPOSIT sections. Take a photo of the deposit slip once completed. ****
Making the deposit:
Throw it all in the deposit bag and seal it. Head to your nearest Wells Fargo Branch (downtown Kirkland) and drop it in the night drop.
- Night drop can be found in the drive through lane. It looks like this.
Misc Notes:
- Tithes and Offerings should be deposited separately from all other funds.
- Example: Reach Youth did a bake sale and raised $910. We also received $10k in tithes. Submit the $910 deposit separately, and let Jake know what the purpose/reason for those funds. And then make a separate deposit for the $10k in tithes.
